Today the u,15s played at the gloucester 10s. They were in a strong pool but won all there pool games against welwyn,exeter,ellingham and newport. This meant you played london irish in the final . Despite only being 10-5 down at half time irish went and scored 3 more trys in the second half to emerge worthy winners

Please dont be down as you played some really good rugby and sometimes you still loose when you play well.Thanks to becky and georgia from lichfield who came and helped us out today .

National 7s

Today was the national 7s at harpenden. Drawn in a pool of 3. Won first game 34-0 and second 5-0. This meant we finished top of the pool. We then played welwyn in the quarter final and it was 12-12 at full time. Then played 5 minutes of sudden death and still level. Then went to drops kicks, and after 7 drop kicks each still level.Thus it went to a toss of a coin which went to us. Then played Berks baa baas in the semi and came out comftable winners 19-5.Then played ellingham and wimbourne which you lost 15-7.

I know that we lost in the final but on the day you played really good rugby and gave 100 % for every game which is all you can do. Today was the last games at u,15s for some of you and the standard of rugby you played today showed that the u,18s are going to be getting some very talented and committed players.

Wednesday the 2nd june will be the last training session of the season. We will be having a fun session so we would like all parents and family to come along and join as well.

We are also looking at having an end of season meal and get together on sunday 6th june.This will be at the angel chef in worcester. Time and cost to be confirmed.

Today you played in the herts 7s. Had slow start in the first game but came ot winners with the last play of the game15-10.Won the next 3 games comfortably 40-5,50-0 and 40-0.That put us into the cup semi against paviors. Scored a try in the first half to take the lead but paviors came back to level at half time and score 2 more trys in the second half to be worthy winners 19-5, paviors went on to lose in the final against london irish.

Played some really good rugby today but some times you play well and still loose.

National Cup

Played in the national cup today at burfield. First match up was against london irish, had a slow start where we could not get hold of the ball in the first half but cam back in the second half but we still lost 27-5. Next up was Morpeth , this was a much tighter game where the lead changed hands several times but worcester came out winners 24-19. This result put us in the plate. Next up was a strong aylesford bulls team. This was also a tight match and the lead changed 3 times with worcester winning 20-12. In the final of the plate played burfield and came out comfortable winners 36-7.

Good team effort with some really good team play.Had a small squad for the day and Winning the plate was a very good result .

Charity Match
