Match Away v Thornbury/chipping sodbury

Today we played a combined thornbury/chipping sodbury team away. The first 15 minutes were played in the worcester half and a lot of pressure was applied by the home team.This was releaved with a try by liv which started from inside our 22.This was converted by Jess. The home team scored a try back with in a minute.Just before half time worcester scored another try by liv to make the H/T score 5-12 to worcester.

The home team then scored again about 10 minutes into the second half which was converted to make the score 12-12. The home team applied pressure again and about 5 minutes later looked like scoring again but the ball was riped by jade from the player who was about to score and she ran the full length of the field to score.The rest of the match was played in the middle of the pitch but there was time for one last score from hettie in the last minute of play , to give worcester the win 22-12.

As good as it is to win we are still looking for the performance more than the result. There still needs to be a big improvement in your contact skills and you are still letting a few players do all the work.There also needs to be a big improvement in your game vision as you are still taking contact when there are better options outside of you.

Match 24/01

Next sunday we are playing a combined thornbury/chipping sodbury team away. This will be at Dings Crusaders Rfc. Please meet by the indoor training area at 9.45 or if going straight there be there at 11.Kick off is at 12. If you are not at training wednesday and are available to play next sunday please let us know.

There might be no changing rooms available before the match but there will be afterwards so please arrive ready changed to play.

Disco 18/12

Abig thanks to all those who attended last night and who brought friends and family along to support this event.Interesting costumes on the night and i am sure these will soon be circulated around for everyone to see.

Match Report v HMH 13/12

Today we played HMH at melton mowbery. When we arrived we found that they only had 9 players so we played 9 a side.Soon this was down to 8 a side after they had an injury. HMH never troubled the worcester girls and worcester won the game 50-0 after 19 minutes. League rules state the match must stop at 50 points. Scorers were Hettie x3, Liv x2,tash,laura and jade. Jess 3 conversions and 2 by tash.

This now means we have won the south league and we will now play paviors in march for the league title.
