TOUR FUND RAISING

We are now starting to fund raise for the tour. We are now handing out raffle tickets to help find raise. Please remember the more you raise the less the tour will cost you, so please sell as many as possible. We are also looking to have a function over christmas but will give more details over the next week or so.

CARDIFF GAME 01/11

Next sunday we are playing cardiff away. Please meet at the club by the indoor training area at 10.45. If going direct please meet there at 12.45 for a 2 oclock kick off.If not at training wednesday it is important to let us know if you are available to play next sunday by wednesday if you can .

CIRENCESTER GAME 25/10

Today we played cirencester at worcester. We played on the westons pitch 3, which was the first time a game has been played on this pitch.Played some good rugby at times but not so good at other times. On the day we won 37-15. Trys from Jade x4 ,jess,hettie and lark,with 1 conversion from tash.In the end it was a comfortable win.
What you must do as a team is not rely on a few girls to do all the work and make all the tackles. What we have said before is it is the performance we are looking at and not just the result,and we would like to see some inprovement each week if possible.
Over the next 3 weeks we have some challenging fixtures coming up which will push us a lot, so the performance needs to improve over these fixtures.We want you to do well but ultimately it is down to you as we can not play the game for you.

SUNDAY 25/10

Please remeber to be at the club at 12.45 at the latest. Please meet in the bar or in the carpark by the indoor training area. Have not heard anything different so i think we will be playing on westons 3 which is the new pitch over the road by where we have played our last 2 games.PS Dont forget the clocks go back an hour tonight

MATCH 25/10

Next sunday we are playing cirencester at home. Please meet at the club at 12.45 at the latest. This will be a 2 oclock kick off. We will be playing on the new pitch 3 on westons if it is ready,if not We will playing on the cummins farm pitches instead,these are the ones over the canal bridge.If not at training on wednesday please confirm to kim if you are available to play or not.

TRAINING SUNDAY 18/10

This coming sunday we are training at greyhounds(hereford city sports) if you have trouble finding it , it is right by the side of the race course. If anyone needs a lift please let kim know at training wednesday. Training next sunday is 1 till 3.

ST MARYS MATCH

Today we played st marys at worcester. Due to the opposition not having enough players we lent them 3 players. The game started strongly for st marys but after a short while a try was scored by jade. Slowly worcester got on top and scored 2 more tries liv and jade and 1 conversion from jess. HT 17-0. In the second half worcester applied pressure and scored 5 more tries liv x2,tash,jade and lark and 2 conversions from tash.FT 46-0. There were some good things today and some not so good , you only played in small bits and need to add more consistancy to your game. We know you can still play even better and the best is still yet to come.

SUNDAY 11/10

This coming sunday we are playing st marys old boys. Please meet at the club at 12.45 for a 2 oclock kick off.Please let kim know your availability if you are not at training on wednesday. Still have not had in all the registrations so please give this to kim asap.

PAVIORS MATCH 04/10

Today we played paviors at worcester. We knew today would be a good test and it proved so. Paviors started strongly but the worcester defence did not falter. Struggled to get out of our own half but did get a few brakes but these were stopped by strong tackling by paviors. Eventually paviors pressure created them a try.Worcester then put on pressure of there own and scored a try by Jade. HT 5-5.

The worcester team started the second half well and applied pressure on paviors. This carried on for a while but eventually paviors cleared and got a scrum on the worcester 5 metre which they scored from.Worcester then put pressure on paviors and eventually scored a try by liv.Worcester had a chance to snatch victory but it was not to be.FT 10-10

On reflection 10-10 was a fair result. There were some good things today and not so good. We will learn a lot from today and move forward as a team.
