Ladies match 01/04

Just a reminder that the ladies 1sts are playing this thuesday against bristol in a ladies premiership match on westons pitches. Not sure of kick off time but it will either be 7.30 or 8.

17/04 GLOUCESTER 10S

On saturday 17/04 we are playing at the gloucester 10s. I know it is a few weeks away but can you confirm if you are not available for this event. I know last year we entered 2 teams but this year we do not have enough numbers to do this, however we have been asked if we can help out another team with players. So if you want to play there is an opportunity for everyone to play if they want .

Sunday 04/04

Next sunday the 04/04 there is no training. The girls involved in regional have the weekend off,but 4 of the girls not involved in regional will be playing at thornbury.

For those going to thornbury please be there for 9.30 .

Nld Final v paviors

Today we played in the nld final against paviors.Paviors started very strongly and soon scored. They kept applying the pressure and at half time were 27-0 to the good. The second half was more of the same but you managed to score 2 trys from kelly and 1 conversion from jess but paviors ran out winners 58-12. On the day paviors were the better team and deserved winners.

Please remember one lose does not make you a bad team.These type of results do happen.Now you need to use this result as motivation and play as a team going forward as there are a lot of tournaments to come.We are not a team of individuals so lets play like a team.

A big thank you to all the parents who drove today as without you these matches can not take place.

Sunday 28/03

Next sunday 28/03 we are playing paviors away in the final of the NLD league.Please meet at the club at 8.30 or at paviors at 10.45 at the latest. Match is a 12 oclock kick off.Please can you all try to make training this wednesday.If not at training pleaase confirm your availability for next sunday.If you need a lift please let us know on wednesday.

Tour top information. Hoodies for this years tour will be approx £24 each and the colour is jade. T shits will be blue cost still to be confirmed. If you would like to order either of these etc, please let kim know asap as time is short to get these before tour.

If you want to watch a ladies rugby match there is one on thursday evening the 1st april .The ladies 1st are playing a league match on westons pitches against bristol.

As the facilities are not available to us this sunday there will be no training If you are not involved in regional .

Match v chipping sodbury

Today we played chipping sodbury. I will not go into the match with any detail but the final score line did not reflect the game.Despite the fact we won the game we did not play up to the same high standard rugby that you have recently been playing. Against stronger teams we will struggle if we do not pick up the intensity of our play and do all the good things that we know you are capable of.

For information the final score was 58-5 to worcester. Scorers were liv x4, kelly x3,jade x2 and jazz. 4 conversions from jess.

Sunday 04/04

On sunday the 4th april (easter sunday) there is a 7s tournament at thornbury. We are considering entering a team into this. This would only be for girls not involved in regional.If we get enough interest we will enter a team . Please let us know by sunday if you are interested and available to play.

Sunday 14/03

Next sunday we are playing chipping sodbury at home.This will be played on westons pitches. Please meet at 12.45 for a 2 oclock kick off at the westons changing rooms.

This sunday there is a game for the girls not involved in regional at cinderford rfc.Please confirm you availability at training wednesday.If not at training wednesday please let us know if you are available.Please meet there at 12 for a 1 oclock kick off. Please keep checking blog before leaving to confirm time or if bad weather , cancellation.If cancelled we will train instead.
