MELBOURNE MATCH

Today we played melbourne at chelleston school. Worcester started strongly but melbourne were soon back into the game. The lead changed hands 4 times in a very close and hard game. With 5 minutes to go melbourne were in the lead 26-20.In the last 5 minutes worcesters tackling and concentration let them down and melbourne scored 3 trys to win the game 45-20. The final score did not reflect the game. The try scorers for worcester were tash x2 libbyand hettie. As we said after last weeks win it was the team and individual performance that we are looking for more than the result. There are some areas to put right which will discuss on wednesday but as a team we can not rely on just a few players to make all the tackles and we must concentrate all the way to the final whistle. Thanks to all the parents who drove today as with out you these away matches can not take place.
